Letting them get going

Hello there!

Not much has changed since the last update, it’s kind of a wait-and-let-them-do-their-thing period of time!

It won’t be long and I’ll be transplanting some of the seedlings into larger containers, I’ll certainly have more to say about that when the time comes.

For now, the little seedlings are doing well, and I’m happily watching their growth (and protecting them from the dog). They are starting to get their true leaves, and I’m so excited to see how they are similar and how they are different.

I have dubbed this zucchini seedling as “king of the seedlings” because it has grown so tall with such a beautiful true leaf so quickly. Seems like it will be a sturdy plant. (Because I totally have the prior experience to make a judgement on that, right!?)

The Texas weather is giving us one last little taste of winter before spring arrives, and there is a slight chance of a freeze, so tonight I am going to bring in all of my plants, not just the seedlings.

Thanks for stopping by!
